Wear Your Season: The Autumn Palette
Autumn tip
Reach for anything that makes you think of a forest floor, a harvest table, or a fire on a cold night.
That's your color story.

You know an Autumn woman…
When you see her. She's the one who looks absolutely extraordinary in October — like the whole world suddenly shifted its palette to match her. Rust and her hair are having a moment. Olive and her eyes are in a full conversation. She puts on a camel coat and looks like she was designed for it.
Autumn is arguably the richest, most dramatic of all the seasons. And if it's yours, your jewelry collection should know it.
So What Does It Mean to Be an Autumn?
Autumn is warm, deep, and muted. If you're an Autumn, your coloring has rich, golden or coppery undertones — but unlike Spring, your palette is deeper and earthier rather than bright and fresh. Think: auburn, copper, warm chestnut, dark warm brown, or deep golden hair. Eyes that are warm brown, hazel, olive green, deep teal, or amber. Skin with warm golden, peachy, or olive undertones — the kind that tans beautifully and has a natural richness to it even in the depths of winter.
Autumns have a depth and warmth to their coloring that is genuinely striking. They are the women who look most like themselves in fall — because the season was named for them, or maybe it feels that way.
The Autumn Palette
Your colors are warm, rich, and earthy — think the colors of a forest in October. Rust. Terracotta. Olive green. Mustard. Warm teal. Burnt orange. Deep warm brown. Camel. Warm burgundy. Copper. Gold. Chocolate. Warm moss.
What Autumn doesn't want: anything cool, icy, or pastel. Soft pink, lavender, icy blue, cool grey — these colors fight against Autumn's natural warmth and depth and leave her looking washed out or flat. Autumn needs warmth and richness. She disappears in cool colors and comes fully alive in earthy ones.
What This Means for Your Jewelry
Autumns are made for gold. Warm yellow gold, copper, bronze — anything with richness and warmth. Silver tends to look cold against Autumn's coloring; warm metals bring out the depth and beauty of her natural palette.
For color, lean into earth and richness: terracotta earrings, deep teal, warm rust, olive, mustard, copper tones, warm burgundy. These colors will deepen your eyes and make your skin glow. Avoid cool or icy tones — Autumn's palette lives in the warm and the grounded.
Autumns can carry substantial, bold pieces beautifully. Your coloring has the depth to handle drama — a large pair of deep teal or rust statement earrings won't overwhelm you, they'll anchor you. Don't be afraid to go bold.
The Anam Cara Connection
Autumn is one of my favorite palettes to make for — there is something incredibly satisfying about working in terracotta, warm teal, and deep rust. The earthy, warm end of the Anam Cara collection lives here. Look for pieces in olive, terracotta, mustard, warm brown tones, and deep warm teal.
The Woman of… collection has pieces that carry the kind of depth and intention that suits an Autumn beautifully — pieces with weight and meaning, made for women who know exactly who they are. Bold, substantial statement earrings in warm earth tones are your sweet spot.
If you're an Autumn: reach for anything that makes you think of a forest floor, a harvest table, or a fire on a cold night. That's your palette. Own every inch of it.
