Waxwing Artworks is a vibrant space in Charlottesville Virginia dedicated to showcasing the talent of local artists and makers. Founded by Amy Shawley Paquette, an acclaimed bird painter, the gallery offers a curated collection of unique, handcrafted pieces. Shenandoah Valley Art Center
The Shenandoah Valley Art Center, a cultural cornerstone of downtown Waynesboro, was established in 1986 by local artists seeking exhibition space and a supportive community. As the only dedicated community art center and full-time gallery in the area, SVAC hosts approximately 12 main exhibits, numerous member and community shows annually. SVAC offers weekly children's classes, summer art camps, adult workshops, 12 resident artist studios, and specialized facilities including an intaglio printmaking and framing studio for its members.
